From putting boots on the ground to helping people get to the ballot box, Sarasota Next Gen Dems will reshape Sarasota to reflect our community's shared values.
We represent and connect young Democrats, progressives, and left-leaning individuals to a broader community of organizers and leaders.
As the next generation of public servants, SRQNGD will work tirelessly to hold elected officials accountable, educate Sarasota’s electorate at large, and equip our local leaders with the knowledge, tools, and platform to fight for meaningful change.
SRQNGD will be open to membership for young Democrats ages 14–40. We are committed to collaborating with and supporting all our local clubs, caucuses, DECs, organizations, and Democrats who are young at heart.

Our chapter will organize precinct by precinct, pairing our growing membership of young Democrats with local precinct captains to strengthen community engagement. We will host forums, town halls, and debates, while also undertaking community service and collaborating with local leaders to maximize impact.
