Here's how
When our Young Democrats chapter was re-launched, our executive board spent ample time researching, planning, and redefining what our chapter would plan to do. Our chapter will operate in two ways.
One arm will focus on the average chapter operations - this includes General membership meetings, Community events, socials, and base building.
The other arm will focus on running our voter turnout campaign for 2026. This includes our GOTV field program, community canvasses, digital ad’s, and voter targeting.
We are up against well funded, well resourced, and aggressive campaigns. Our role is to serve as a Democratic war chest to fight against Republican attacks on our people and institutions.

We aren’t just building a strong model for what it means to be a Young Democrats chapter in Florida; we are also creating a well-oiled political machine that rapidly educates the electorate, turns them out to vote, registers new voters, and elects Democrats in Sarasota County.
